Neighborhood Association Home Page

The College Commons Neighborhood Association (CCNA) was founded in 1994 and was reactivated and reorganized in 1997 to include residents bordered by 91st Street, 96th Street, College Avenue and Pennsylvania Street.  CCNA was organized with the following goals in mind:

• To bring about a safe and pleasant neighborhood free of concern about life and property
• To foster a culture of caring through communication among neighbors
• To provide a forum for public discussion of CCNA concerns
• To encourage and facilitate informed citizen participation in issues affecting our neighborhood

To help us accomplish our goals, we have established:

• a neighborhood Crime Watch program,
• a network of Street Representatives and Block Captains,
• a variety of communication tools such as newsletters, meetings, web site, e-mails
• a point of contact for each area of Special Interest,
• a directory containing the Bylaws and all residents in the CCNA boundaries (Please Contact Us if you would like a copy of the directory; you may also view a copy of the Bylaws online here).
